White Noise in Eagles & Owls
Eagles started their DT this half term by looking at the amazing pop-up book, White Noise, by David A Carter. White Noise is inspired by the artist Piet Mondrian and features pop-up art pieces in primary colours.
The moment we realised the artist was Mondrian, we wanted to create our own pop-up book especially for Owls class, who had studied the artist at the beginning of the term.
It has taken over a month, but today Eagles finally delivered our version, Red Noise, to Owls. Our pop-ups are made using the colours of our Houses - with a blurb written by our Writing Leader, Imogen and a cover and back cover by our Art Leaders, Conor and Kacey. Also, special thanks to Archie and Lily who spent a long time binding the spine and each page.
Owls loved our book - it even got a round of applause!
