Tilford Mosque Welcomes Kestrels

Kestrels class had a wonderful morning at Mubarak Mosque in Tilford. They were treated to a tour of the whole community while learning about Islam. A big thank you to Samina, a parent of one of our Owls, who joined Kestrels on their trip and shared her knowledge of Islam too.

While inside the Mosque, the children were able to ask lots of really insightful and thoughtful questions about Islam to further their learning. After their morning visit, the class returned to school and cooked Middle Eastern flatbreads, hummus and fattoush all washed down with mint tea and dates.
