The School Council use their words!

On Tuesday the School Council treated us to their first assembly. During one of their recent meetings, the whole council came up with an idea to teach their peers about how words can affect others, and on Tuesday it was put into action!

A team was selected for the assembly where the council showed how a simple change of the words we use can really have an impact on the feelings of others. 

Thank you to year 6 who created the 'tabards' and the the councillors who led the assembly so well. We were even treated to some fine emotional acting!
