Forest School Working Party

Thank you to all those that helped out at the Forest School Working Party on Saturday. 

Just look at what we achieved in a few hours:

-Hedge cuttings cleared

-Low hanging hawthorn and holly pruned and cleared

-Pond cleared

-Wildflower area 'de-grassed'

-New wildflower area dug out

-Post in for bird feeder

-Posts in for pulley systems - horizontal and vertical

-Additional posts in for 'dead hedge' area

-'Dead hedge' tidied up

We also found lots of newts, dragon-fly larvae and even saw a fox!  There was also time to taste a delicious tiger cake baked by from Mrs Godwin.  Thank you all for helping and thank you Mrs Greggs for organising us.
