School Notices

Year 6 - Application to Secondary School - Applications for secondary school must be submitted by the deadline of Monday 31^st October, although it is suggested that you apply by 21^st October. Visit surreycc.gov.uk/admissions to access the application form and more information on the application process and admission arrangements for Surrey schools.
Gas Main Works in Elstead - SCG will begin work on the gas main in the village on Monday 7th November. Please see the letter on the Parent Portal for full details.
New Meals Menu - Please have a look on the Parent Portal at the new meals menu that comes into effect after half term. Details will be available on the Weekly Menus webpage in time for the first day back at school.
Half Term Activities at Godalming Library - Details of numerous activities for children of all ages and abilities are available on our Advertising Hub.
Ramble for Children In Need 18th November 2022 - the children will be rambling to The Moat for Children In Need. We welcome donations paid directly to Children in Need if possible.
Catering Vacancies at St James Primary School - We still have vacancies for a caterer and caterer's assistant at our school. If you would like to know more please click here to see the details of both vacancies. If you know of anyone who would be interested in this role, please do pass on the information.
Drop in sessions with our Home School Link Worker, Helen Owen - The role of the Home School Link Worker (HSLW) is to support families with a range of issues at home or at school. 1:1 sessions are available on Wednesdays. To book an appointment, email Helen on hslw@st-james-elstead.surrey.sch.uk or ring the school office to request a call back.
