A Perfect Spring Day for Robins at Forest School

Spring sunshine welcomed Robins back to Forest School this week. 

Thinking about Florence Nightingale, one of our class topics, we worked in teams to create 'medicines' from natural resources including catkins, bark, leaves and of course soil and water. We also decided how our medicines would help people or animals. This included 'stopping people from cutting down trees', 'happiness', 'a medicine for healthy trees and bugs' and 'a medicine to make people hate chocolate so it is all left for us'!

There was also lots of time to explore the site, make a course on the balancing area, design and build dens complete with a waterproof covering. It was wonderful to be outside and feel the warmth of the sun!
